Welcome to our website

The calling of the Methodist Church is to

respond to the gospel of God's love in Christ

and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission.

All are welcome

We are now taking small, safe steps towards re-opening our building.

COVID-19 measures have been adopted to allow a short act of worship to take place on Sunday morning which will follow all government guidelines, including no singing of hymns, everyone being asked to move safely into the worship area, not congregating in the concourse and asked to leave following the service (no tea & coffee)

Due to social distancing measures, the capacity of our worship area is reduced to approximately 40 people (there are some photos in this document)

We have taken the necessary steps to create a safe place to worship, but everyone should make their own decision whether they wish to attend, please do not feel you have to, just because the church is open. Our worship resources in Connect magazine and evening online worship is continuing.

We know how worrying this time must be for you and that you may feel isolated and lonely, please remember that although we may not be able to meet together, you are both in our thoughts and in our prayers.

We continue to keep in contact with all our friends at Wesley, West Bromwich and should you want to contact our minister, Rev Phil Thomas, his details are below; alternatively you may contact us via email (also see below).

Please make sure that you take care of yourself during this time. We may not all be able to worship together, but we can be in fellowship with each other through our prayers. There are links to worship and prayer resources on the worship page.

All other activities at Wesley are currently suspended following guidance from The Methodist Church, Boys Brigade and Girlguiding UK in line with Government guidance (17/03/2020)
